Radiology Technician Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Radiology Technician to join our team part to full-time. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of operating fluoroscopic equipment, positioning patients for procedures, and producing high-quality images.

Responsibilities:

Perform fluoroscopic imaging during procedures

Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, ensuring patient safety, and positioning patients correctly

Operate and maintain fluoroscopic equipment in a safe and efficient manner

Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and self

Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure all necessary images are obtained

Keep detailed records of imaging procedures and patient information

Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist

Valid ARRT certification

BLS certification

Strong knowledge of fluoroscopic equipment and imaging techniques

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Compassionate and patient-centered approach to patient care

Multiple locations: Clifton Park, Queensbury

This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Monday through Friday, no nights, weekends or holidays
