Builden Partners seeks a Marketing Communications Specialist to develop and execute marketing and communications strategy for our growing list of law firm clients.
This position is ideally based in Chicago and is primarily remote, with the expectation of coming into the office 2-3 times per month.
Remote candidates in MN, TN or PA will also be considered.The Marketing Communications Specialist will:
Collaborate with and serve as the day-to-day contact for retainer and project-based clientsImplement Builden's marketing infrastructure model for clients, including: Developing thought leadership content and client newslettersDrafting marketing materials, including bios, web copy, social media posts and newsletter contentManaging awards, including providing recommendations and drafting select award submission contentResearching, planning and executing events and conference participation as well as coordinating strategic sponsorshipsHandling social accounts and website updatesCreate playbooks to train clients to implement Builden's marketing infrastructure modelProvide research and analysis for various initiativesLead client meetings, including coordinating follow upCreate, edit and update client win summaries, press releases, biographies, practice group descriptions, award nominations and other contentManage key elements of client brand and website redesignsThe right candidate: Has 4-6 years of experience within-house law firm experience preferredHas a bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business or related fieldHas exceptional writing and verbal communication skillsIs entrepreneurial with a positive attitudeEnjoys working within our process-driven modelLikes managing multiple projects, priorities and deadlinesIs highly focused, organized and intensely detail-orientedWill thrive in our fast-paced cultureIs able to work independentlyIs committed to ongoing professional developmentBuilden's core values: We appreciate law firm marketers for their skills and insights and believe they are key to a successful law firmWe value growth and professional development for ourselves and our clientsWe are intensely detail-oriented and process-driven to ensure best practices are implemented consistentlyWe value the insights all of us bring whilehaving fun and supporting each other professionally and personallyWhat you can expect of Builden: The chance to become involved in a fast-growing businessThe opportunity to work with a smart, committed, energetic teamCompetitive salary and benefits, including health care and 401K packagesTremendous growth opportunities for exceptional performersInterested candidates should send a resume, writing samples and salary requirements to [email protected].
