    The selected candidate will use systematic, science-based techniques, analytical methods, simulation, and critical thinking to inform and improve decision-making processes
    This position will require frequent collaboration with team members and engineers in other disciplines
    As part of the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Operations Analysis team, this candidate will participate in analysis to support requirements definitions, concept of operations (CONOPS) evaluation, and operational effectiveness studies to help shape and influence future capabilities of the warfighter
    These impactful studies quantify the effects of payloads, weapons and tactics on survivability and mission effectiveness

    Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

    • Participating in analysis and study plans based on critical questions/problem statements
    • Applying engineering-based techniques, problem-solving methods, and critical thinking
    • Researching and learning military systems, military operations, and military tactics
    • Simulation, Modeling and Analysis (MS&A) of military systems and scenarios in digital environments
    • Analyzing simulation results using data analytics to help draw meaningful conclusions
    • Participating in trade studies and performing statistical analysis
    • Participating in research efforts and learning analytical techniques with research methodologies.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Scripting and data processing experience (MATLAB, Python, or similar)
    • Problem solving skills with an eagerness to learn
    • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field from an accredited college/university
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance with customer's acceptance.

    Desired Skills:

    • Operations Research (OR) or experience in computer-based analytical tools
    • Modeling and simulation experience
    • Software development experience (C++, Git, Gitlab)
    • Knowledge of radar, electronic warfare, infrared, or communication systems
    • Knowledge of data analytics, data science, and data visualization
    • Advanced degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited college/university
    • Active DoD clearance

    Security Clearance Statement:
    This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Clearance Level:
    Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

    Ability to Work Remotely:
    Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    Work Schedules:
    Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees
    Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed

    These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
