- Assembly of meters and other electronic instruments. 2. Perform functional go/no-go tests as required during the assembly process. 3. Works from blueprints, diagrams, schematics or verbal instructions. 4. Some circuit board assembly. 5. Perform final assembly of completed units. 6. Finalize meters for QA inspection and perform QA inspection when required. 7. Perform special functional flow tests on sensors per engineering's instructions. 8. Develop assembly instructions for assembling magnetic flowmeters. 9. Coordinate with engineering prototype assemblies and evaluation to ascertain proper form, fit and function of assembly and components. 10. Cross train others or be cross-trained as required. 11. Other duties as required.

Job DescriptionMake assemblies, sub-assemblies, final assembly and test of instruments Interface with engineering to provide feedback and recommendations to improve assembly operations and reduce assembly time.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works in such a way as to ensure his/her own safety and the safety of others.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Education: 2 year AA degree
High School or equivalent experience.
Experience: 4 years experience in assembly Soldering and electronic assembly required
Knowledge: Must read blueprints, diagrams and schematics

Certification:
N/A
EQUIPMENT/MACHINES USED: Hand tools and power tools to obtain desired fits. Drill press, & soldering iron.
Electronic test equipment
PHYSICAL/MENTAL
REQUIREMENTS: Must interface well with others. Have a positive attitude.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normal shop environment.
