$16.50-$18.50 PER HOUR
1st Shift 6:30 am- 5 pm Monday to Thursday with Overtime on Friday as needed for production

As a water spider you will be responsible for making sure materials are supplied to where they are needed on the production floor to maintain an uninterrupted flow.

Material Production Mover/ Water SpiderSummary:

The Water Spiders work in a fast-paced indoor/outdoor environment. This position is responsible for physically loading and unloading parts and components to and from the assembly lines in a fast and accurate manner.

Material Production Mover/ Water SpiderEssential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Locate, pull, and provide specified materials and/or items as needed by assemblers
• Complete duties in a timely manner.
• Maintain clean and safe workspace, while achieving productivity and quality standards.
• Ensure that material and storage, in their area of assignment, appears clean and tidy.
• React and take immediate actions in case of changes in priority.
• Organize incoming and outgoing parts in your assigned area while maintaining organization and consistency throughout the department.

Material Production Mover/ Water SpiderRequired Education, Knowledge & Skills:

• Ability to read a tape measure accurately down to 1/16th is required
• Must be reliable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments within the parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, written direction, and work orders.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to communicate clearly
• Requires ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Requires ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, crawl, and kneel
• Specific vision ability required includes close, distance, color, and peripheral vision with depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Manufacturing work environment that has frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, noise intensity level, proximity to moving mechanical parts and exposure to weather.
