CIVIL CLOTHING SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Position: Summer Intern

Position Purpose: Civil Clothing is excited to offer a summer internship program aimed at providing junior and above college students with valuable hands-on experience in the apparel and fashion industry. This paid internship program will run from June 10th to August 2nd, spanning 8 weeks, with interns expected to work Monday to Friday for 40 hours per week. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain insight into various departments within our company, learning firsthand from our teams in addition to creating your own project.

Essential Functions: Our internship program is designed to offer a comprehensive learning experience and exposure to different facets of our business. Interns will work closely with their assigned departments to provide support, contribute ideas, and assist with day-to-day tasks. In addition to department-specific responsibilities, interns will have the chance to participate in educational workshops, networking events, and other social activities.

Education: Junior and Above College Students.

Experience: Previous experience is not required.

Location: Our Offices in Torrance, CA (in-person only)

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Departments we are looking for interested candidates:

1. Design - Assist the design team with creating sketches, mood boards, and tech packs.
2. Marketing - Support marketing initiatives including social media management, content creation, and campaign execution.
3. Sales - Aid the sales team with market research, client communications, and order processing.
4. Production - Assist in coordinating production schedules, communicating with manufacturers, and quality control.
5. E-commerce - Help manage the online store, including product listings, inventory management, and customer service.
6. Operations - Provide administrative support to various departments, assist with logistics, and help maintain organizational efficiency.
7. Tech - Collaborate with the technology team on website maintenance, software development, and troubleshooting technical issues.
8. Accounting - Assist the finance department with budgeting, financial analysis, and accounts payable/receivable tasks.
9. Product Development - Work alongside product development specialists in researching trends, sourcing materials, and testing prototypes.
