Responsibleforpreparingbusinessplans,staffingplans,

departmentanddivision budgets.
Participateintheannualstrategicandbusinessplanning efforts.
Negotiateorparticipateincontract negotiations.
Develop,track,andmonitorperformance measures.
Responsibleforpolicydevelopmentand implementation.
Identifyoperationalefficiencies,seeksolutions,andensureimprovementsare made.
Communicate,interactwith,andmaypresentto

the

CountyAdministrator,BCCmembers,executiveteam, internal departments, governmental agencies, consultants, citizens, etc.
Capital and

Operating

Budgets

versee,develop,andadministerthedepartmentanddivisioncapitalandoperational budgets.
ProvideguidanceandenterprisefundleadershiptotheDirectorandManagersinPublic Utilities.
Ensurefinancialstabilityandcostcontainmentofthe Department.
Reviewandauthorizemajorcontractsand/or purchases.
Responsibleforthedevelopmentoffinancialplansrelatedtorateandfeestructure-,short-andlong-term borrowing, debt service, and fund balance management.
Responsible for financial planning, financial modeling, revenue, budget monitoring, debt management, andexpenditure projections for each division.
Recommendnewrevenuebonds,bankloans,StateRevolvingFundloans,andothertypesof debt.
Overseeandmanagethedevelopmentofrateanalysesandrelatedrate recommendations.

Hours:
Monday - Friday,

8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

About You


Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Public Administration, Engineering, or related field


AND
e

ight (8) years of progressively responsible related experience.

OR
Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, MBA, MPA or related field


AND
six (6) or more years of related experience.
Four (4) or more years of

supervisory/management

experience.

Passing Substance Screening:
This position is subject to passing a pre-employment substance screening.

An applicant who fails to pass a required drug screening test shall be disqualified from employment for a period of five (5) years.

About Everything Else


Starting Pay Range:
$90, $101,000.00

/year, based on your experience.
