    Description
    Clinical reference laboratory in Ocala FL is seeking to hire a full-time phlebotomist.

    In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company.

    Work schedule is Monday-Friday 8am -4:30pm. Medical, dental and vision benefits are options available to full time employee. In addition, company paid $50K life insurance policy. 401K enrollment thru ADP Totalsource is available. Salary compares to area hospital systems and reference laboratories.
    Job duties
    • Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary technique for all age groupsProcess and prepare specimens for testingPerform patient information data entry into laboratory information systemCollect and process patient insurance billing informationMaintain patient and specimen information logsAdministrative and clerical duties as assignedProvide superior customer serviceMaintain HIPPA and OSHA complianceJob requirements .
    Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred but not requiredAbility to work independently or as a member of a teamReliable transportation and clean driving recordExperience requirements
    • Minimum of two years phlebotomy and medical assistant experience required.
