    Senior Training Coordinator

    Position Summary:

    Under the supervision of the Research, Evaluation, and Training Manager, the Senior Training Coordinator is responsible for training and co-training both internally and externally. Primary roles include identifying training needs, supporting the preparation of training materials and conducting training programs. Additionally, the role includes overseeing all administrative aspects of training activities organization wide, with academic partners and outside organizations. They are involved with coordinating interprofessional (ie: NP, PA, medical assistants, MD's, MSW) education.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all administrative aspects of training activities with both clinical and non clinical staff, academic partners and outside organizations
    • Assist in coordinating with schools and outside organizations to initiate MOU's
    • Onboard students ensuring the process is efficient and welcoming
    • Participate as an active member of the Research, Evaluation and Training Department
    • Provide support to all departments, helping to ensure there is a solid training component throughout the organization
    • Support the reporting with other agencies and/or institutions when needed
    • Collaborate with other agencies and or institutions when needed
    • Attend department and staff meetings, as necessary.

    Competencies:

    • Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience.
    • Experience implementing trainings
    • Experience working in a non-profit organization or a community clinic.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work on and oversee multiple projects, ensuring timely and effective completion of each.
    • Ability to communicate with/develop relationships with potential partners and collaborators.
    • Interest/proficiency in working on issues affecting urban underserved, impoverished and marginalized communities of color.
