- Assist children with intellectual disabilities in the Chicago, IL/Southeastern WI area at weekend camps.
- Provide guidance, supervision, and engaging activities tailored for campers.
- Ensure safety and well-being of participants.
- Support families by offering them respite and renewal during camp weekends.
- Guide and supervise assigned campers.
- Assist with daily living activities.
- Manage behaviors and ensure a safe environment.
- Collaborate with volunteers for camper engagement.
- Complete necessary documentation and follow organization's policies.
- Minimum age of 18 and high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or children is preferred.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a team and willingness to learn.
- Physical fitness to participate in camp activities.
- Alignment with the values and standards of McLean Bible Church.
