    Digital Shelf Syndication & Optimization Analyst


    The Digital Shelf Syndication & Optimization Analyst role sits within the Consumer Experience Organization, which accelerates US growth by leading the development of capabilities that drive efficient scale and works with the Brand, Customer, Marketing Technology, and Omni Performance teams to drive impact with customers and consumers.

    This role is pivotal in contributing to overarching e-commerce growth, improving delivery, and optimizing results in response to the ever-evolving digital shelf space.

    This role will be supporting content optimization and syndication projects for digital shelf.

    The ideal candidate for this position will have experience across end-to-end digital shelf, with understanding of retailer requirements and nuances.

    The individual should comfortably flex between detailed processes and technologies to finding strategic solutions in the omnichannel landscape.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Syndication & Content Collection:

    Daily:
    Manage projects and workflows in Salsify: completing tasks within SLAs.

    For designated projects and brands:
    own the image review/ approval tasks, approved marketing copy upload tasks, and others as needed.
    Communicate any issues or pending tasks with stakeholders and internally for visibility.
    Regularly update project trackers and JIRA tickets to maintain consistent and clear communication with the business users.
    Support projects as needed to help accelerate syndication capabilities. Projects could include channel changes, updating workflows, and custom exports to scale delivery.
    Manage ad-hoc customer syndication requests and provide regular updates on progress, issues, or delays. Support bulk syndication efforts to refresh content at scale for specific retailers and attributes.

    Build enhancement content layouts and records for 40+ products in Syndigo, working closely with brand content owners, tech, and customer teams to ensure content is accurate and live across retailers.

    Syndicate digital shelf content from Salsify and directly in vendor portals for New Products and Content Refreshes, including packaging refreshes, brand restages, image/copy optimizations, and enhanced content.

    Continually assess for areas of improvement in syndication process to improve speed-to-market, content accuracy, customer visibility, and minimize touchpoints.


    Technical Syndication Skills:

    Channel Mapping:
    Analyzing and mapping digital channels for accurate product representation.

    Data Management:
    Handling large datasets to ensure content consistency across platforms.

    Retailer Issue Resolution:
    Troubleshooting and resolving syndication issues with retailer partners.

    Workflow Coordination:
    Managing workflows for timely content syndication and collaboration with teams.
    Enhanced Content

    Optimization:
    Developing and synchronizing enhanced product content across retailers.

    Content Measurement/Analytics:

    Optimization Identification:
    Using tools like PacVue and Salsify Insights to identify content optimization opportunities.

    Report Generation:
    Creating and sharing comprehensive reports internally for strategic decision-making.

    Insights Discovery:
    Identifying trends and insights to enhance digital shelf performance and maximize ROI.

    Measure impact of content optimizations through A/B testing, AI tools, and analyzing performance metrics such as share of search, conversion rate, and organic traffic.


    Optimization:


    Own end-to-end syndication process for Digital Shelf content optimization projects - Examples of content optimizations may include updating carousel images and enhanced content, conducting SEO refreshes for PDP copy, creating mobile optimized images, etc.

    Conduct retailer PDP content audits to identify content optimization opportunities and develop a roadmap for optimizations.
    Create positive relationships with internal partners and creative agencies to drive a digital-first approach to develop assets.

    Partner closely with cross-functional partners to deploy new workflows, features, and partnerships, with a focus on automation of routine tasks.

    Qualifications

    Experience and Skills:

    Required:
    3+ years experience in digital shelf content management and syndication
    Detailed oriented, with a track record of problem solving, navigating ambiguous environments, learning agility, continuous improvement, and being cross-functionally balanced
    Experience managing and syndicating content in Salsify
    Experience using retailer platforms, portals and systems (i.e. Syndigo, Salsify, Vendor Central, portals, templates) and managing multiple channels.
    Strong project management skills; Adaptable, detail-oriented and able to prioritize effectively
    Talent to manage workflow maintenance, channel mapping and Salsify/Syndigo escalation
    Strong experience in managing above-the-fold content (baseline copy, CGI, EDI) and enhanced content below-the-fold
    Strong visual, written and oral communication skills
    Ability to learn new technologies and platforms

    Preferred:
    Knowledge on retailer digital shelf requirements and guidelines
    Experience using DAM, PIM, and/or MRM platforms
    Professional experience with large retailer or CPG organization
