Full Remote Parts Buyer & Expeditor Job Description (part-time / remote ok)

We are seeking a Parts Buyer & Expeditor to assist in the development and delivery of hardware components to ensure manufacturing and delivery of our systems on time. You will help accelerate our path to production and fulfill our customer orders. Your work will require detailed collaboration across our team and comprehensive documentation. The successful individual must be self-motivated and have the ability to proactively see what needs to be done.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

? Analyze and understand purchasing requirements.

? As required, contact vendors for delivery status and expedite.

? Investigate alternative sources for parts.

? Develop Net Terms credit and expand our credit line when required.

? Manage individual vendors in coordination with the overall program requirements

? Assist in the development of an overall schedule and build plan in coordination with other

team members and vendors.

? Create and maintain hardware procurement budgets.

MUST HAVE ATTRIBUTES/SKILLS

? Experienced with a PLM workflow.

? Excel, Word, Google Docs expertise.

? Competent in use and operation of Windows OS.

? Experience with an ECO document version control system.

? Fluency in English (written and spoken).

? High integrity.

NICE TO HAVE ATTRIBUTES/SKILLS

? Second language (Spanish or Mandarin or Japanese).
