- The selected candidate is expected to have responsibilities in teaching, research, and service. The teaching load is seven sections (28 credits) per academic year.
- Applicants from all fields are welcome and should expect to teach introductory and upper-level courses within their area of expertise. In addition to teaching Public policy, strong candidates will be comfortable teaching introductory statistics and more advanced topics courses that appeal to students from various majors within the department.
- Applicants should be prepared to work collaboratively to support students who are passionate about social justice and plan to use their training to lead and influence.

- The candidate should demonstrate evidence of a commitment to excellence in research and teaching as well as alignment with University mission.

invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Economics and Political Science full-time, 9-month non-tenure position. This is for a visiting faculty member for a 1-year contract.
The undergraduate college at St. Catherine is one of only six US institutions that is both a women's college and a minority serving institution. Based in the Twin Cities of St. Paul and Minneapolis, Minnesota, St. Kate's is home to a diverse group of nearly 5,000 students in varying disciplines and degree levels. The Economics and Political Science Department contributes to a wide array of majors, including Economics, Financial Economics, International Business and Economics, International Studies, Political Science, Public Policy, Women and International Development, and a Non-Profit Studies minor.
