Job summary
A well-regarded nonprofit senior living community is adding a Physical Therapist to their skilled nursing rehab team. This is a 13-week contract assignment (30 hours/week guaranteed) with strong potential to extend, starting as soon as February 16th.This facility holds a 5-star CMS rating and is designated High Performing in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. This is geriatric Physical Therapy in a setting that allows you to actually see patients progress and return home.
You'll join the rehab team at a facility that treats therapy as a clinical priority, not a cost center.,
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat residents recovering from hip and knee replacements, falls, strokes, cardiac events, and hospital-related deconditioning
- Develop individualized treatment plans focused on gait training, balance, strengthening transfers,
and safe discharge home ,
