- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid teaching certification/license in Special Education
- Knowledge of local and state special education regulations and policies
- Previous experience working with students with diverse learning needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other educators and support staff
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Adapt curriculum materials and teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student
