    Our client, Wilkinson Apex Engineering Group, is hiring a Staff Civil Engineer in the Conshohocken market

    APEX Design + Engineering Group, LLC (APEX) is a multi-disciplinary consulting engineering and planning firm located in Conshohocken, PA.     APEX is currently seeking a self-motivated civil engineer to execute technical work assignments on projects as part of a project team. The candidate will be assigned engineering tasks under the direction of more senior department staff and will be responsible for handling day-to-day tasks that accompany representing clients.

    Job Responsibilities

    The position will primarily support staff and project-level engineers in all aspects of projects including conceptual/planning, preliminary design, detailed design, construction documentation, permitting documents and engineer reports. Responsibilities include:

    • Review of local municipal ordinances.
    • Design of sites including but not limited to site layout, site grading, and site utilities.
    • Assist the design team in preparation of plans for permitting and construction.
    • Preparation of permit applications.
    • Preparation of engineering reports, present technical information to demonstrate compliance with client requirements and/or regulatory requirements.


    Requirements

    Required Attributes

    • Required education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
    • Minimum years of work experience: 0-5.
    • Computer Skills: Microsoft Suite, AutoCAD (preferably Civil 3D).
    • Ability to work in a team environment.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    • Demonstrates the highest degree of ethical behavior.

    Preferred Attributes

    • Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification preferred, or in pursuit of obtaining it.
    • Experience in land development.
    • Willingness to work additional and/or nonstandard office hours, as required.
