Manufacturing Engineer

Job Type:
Full-time

Job Responsibilities:
Create and maintain documentation and technical drawings for processes, tooling, and fixtures.
install and continually evaluate quality assurance and/or control methods and systems
standards, procedures, and work instructions to provide quality guidance and to facilitate training.

sampling plans and statistical methods used to assess the quality levels of products and processes, including determination of control points and charting methods.

non-conformities for determining root cause, creating corrective actions, providing follow up and close within an acceptable timeframe.
initiate, and drive process improvements that reduce process cycle times and cost, while maintaining quality
Coordinate across departments to maintain accurate engineering BOMs in CAD/ERP software.
Identify and apply manufacturing technologies and industry best practices during the design and development of new products and processes.
Evaluate and modify process flow as necessary to improve efficiency.
Provide hands-on support for product and process development.
Actively participate in continuous improvement (Lean and 6-Sigma) projects including Kaizen events
Perform other duties, as necessary.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing or assembly processes
Ability to translate mechanical documents and engineering drawings.
Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude
Strong comprehension and analytical abilities
Good computer and mathematical skills
ERP experience highly valued

Compensation :
$75,000-$85,000 annual salary, plus opportunity for annual performance-based bonus
