    Description

    The Accounting Manager's main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Posting cash transactions.
    • Entering factory bills triggered by shipments en route.
    • Managing bills and credit memos.
    • Processing vendor payments.
    • Arranging timely wire transfers to factories.
    • Conducting monthly bookkeeping entries.
    • Handling commissions, including monthly accruals, quarterly calculations, reviewing calculations with the CEO, and executing journal entries and payments.
    • Collaborating with accountants to generate 1099 forms.
    • Overseeing customer invoice collections.
    • Administering payroll through a third-party service.
    • Managing and tracking employee vacation and holiday schedules, as well as time-off requests.
    • Generating weekly sales and open orders reports.
    • Handling property taxes and other tax-related matters as required.
    • Compiling and presenting monthly financial reports, including basic accruals.
    • Managing insurance plans and employee health benefits.
    • Conducting research and follow-up on credits, underpayments, and invoice reconciliations.
    • Updating fixed assets schedules and booking monthly depreciation.
    • Tracking deposit invoices and managing deferred revenue accounting for customers who pay 30% upfront months before shipment arrival.

    Profile

    • Proven experience in managing accounting processes and financial reporting in the Consumer Goods or Retail spaces
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
