    Description

    My office is currently working with a Regional Public Accounting firm in the Tulsa area that is looking to add a Tax Manager to its growing team. This is a well-established firm with strong presence in the region that has been providing years of valuable financial services to their diverse client base. Due to the company's expansion, they are in need of an experience tax management professional to join their leadership team and provide support and mentorship to a motivated group of CPA's and other staff members. This individual will also be able to manage some of the firms larger accounts and be the point person for those clients.

    Tax Manager Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Work directly with and oversee a team of Tax Seniors, Associates, and other Staff members
    • Provide tax compliance and consulting to a diverse base of clients
    • Complex tax work and management for a variety of clients and diverse industries
    • Take full responsibility for services of various assigned clients under the supervision of senior managers and partners, including negotiating, billing, and collecting fees
    • Meet regularly with business and community contacts to maintain a network within the local market
    • Provide timely and complete evaluations and counseling for the staff accountants

    Tax Manager Requirements & Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting/finance, MBA would be a plus
    • CPA License
    • 5+ years of proven experience in public accounting, tax preferred
    • Must have the ability to utilize firm technology to enhance client service
    • Must be able to lead and motivate a team of highly motivated individuals to a final goal
    • Must have strong multi-tasking skills
    • Applicants must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Always represent the firm with integrity
