    Photomask Engineering Manager


    Photronics, Inc., is looking for an Engineering Manager to join our world class reticle manufacturing team and lead our engineering team at our flagship Boise, ID location.

    We are seeking an individual who has demonstrated both technical and leadership expertise who can drive excellence in our mask making processes across our entire portfolio covering high volume mainstream IC nodes through cutting edge EUV IC lithography applications.

    The successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of the photomask and/or semiconductor manufacturing process, be comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and ideally have previous reticle and/or wafer lithography experience.

    Must be able to execute in a complex, high performance photomask manufacturing environment to enhance cycle time, improve yield, and manage costs while striving for continuous improvement.


    The Engineering Manager will:
    Provide strategic and tactical leadership to the engineering team to maximize the photomask production process
    Lead and develop process engineers to achieve short and long term goals.
    Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross functional teams
    Collaborate with new product development efforts for site development masks, manufacturing insertion and ramp. Support technology transfer initiatives into and out of site.
    Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure compliance to current and future requirements.
    Partner with customers to implement new products, resolve problems, establish future requirements and enhance relationships.
    Analyze and report on all key process metrics including yield, quality, productivity, and tool reliability

    Lead team to leverage Statistical Process Control (SPC) and other quality-related tools and concepts such as 8D, FMEA, fishbone, 5-why, etc.

    to perform root cause analysis, collect data, interpret control charts, and setting control limits
    Work on complex issues where analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
    Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

    Personal Skills and Attributes:
    Experience in leading and/or working in high technical function groups to resolve process, lithography, or pattern design issues
    Experience in mask or wafer production, including one or more of lithography, develop, metrology, or OPC design
    Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    Ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization
    Must be results oriented
    Ability to remain focused in a busy, multi-tasking environment
    Must be able to hands on in the fab with the team in resolving issues and creating solutions for equipment and process related tasks and projects
    Ability to prioritize workload and provide on-time deliverables
    Willingness to work off-hours in support of critical manufacturing needs
    Must be eligible to apply for and receive U.S. DOD Secret clearance
    Previous

    managerial/leadership

    experience preferred
    Prefer 5+ years of related experience

    EDUCATION:
    BS, MS in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or Material Science is required.
