    CNC Machinist (2nd Shift)

    We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for our 2nd Shift, Monday-Thursday, 3:00 pm to 1:30 am. This is a full-time onsite position in Redmond, WA.

    Responsibilities

    • Programs and sets up CNC milling, lathe, or other machinery according to blueprint specifications.
    • Adjusts machine settings to the desired product specifications and troubleshoots and maintains the machines.
    • Tests accuracy of settings and programs.
    • Inspects parts using precision measuring tools.
    • Perform daily machine maintenance including maintaining coolant and oil levels.
    • Check and change fluid filters as needed.
    • Run production of component parts, perform specification checks, and make machine offset adjustments as needed.
    • Perform advanced troubleshooting of the machines and program functions, edit and document program changes.
    • Operates machines and monitors operation and control panel displays to detect malfunctions and make adjustments.

    Requirements

    • Minimum 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist (Swiss or Lathe) or equivalent.
    • Proficient on advanced, complex units with limited guidance. Provides guidance to lower-level staff.
    • Complete knowledge and application of measurement equipment.
    • Basic programming skills are required on the following machines or equivalent: Tornos, EDM, Tsugami & Acer, with advanced programming skills on at least 1.
    • Proven understanding of trigonometry functions and strong overall math skills.
    • Must be able to read and understand complex blueprints.
    • Basic PC skills and Windows navigation, the ability to send and receive emails, and log on to company websites without assistance.
    • Ability to work and communicate within a team environment.

    Salary range for this position is $32-$50/hour which is the general base range for a successful candidate in the State of Washington. The successful candidates actual pay will be based on various factors such as skills, qualifications and experience.
