- Programs and sets up CNC milling, lathe, or other machinery according to blueprint specifications.
- Adjusts machine settings to the desired product specifications and troubleshoots and maintains the machines.
- Tests accuracy of settings and programs.
- Inspects parts using precision measuring tools.
- Perform daily machine maintenance including maintaining coolant and oil levels.
- Check and change fluid filters as needed.
- Run production of component parts, perform specification checks, and make machine offset adjustments as needed.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting of the machines and program functions, edit and document program changes.
- Operates machines and monitors operation and control panel displays to detect malfunctions and make adjustments.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist (Swiss or Lathe) or equivalent.
- Proficient on advanced, complex units with limited guidance. Provides guidance to lower-level staff.
- Complete knowledge and application of measurement equipment.
- Basic programming skills are required on the following machines or equivalent: Tornos, EDM, Tsugami & Acer, with advanced programming skills on at least 1.
- Proven understanding of trigonometry functions and strong overall math skills.
- Must be able to read and understand complex blueprints.
- Basic PC skills and Windows navigation, the ability to send and receive emails, and log on to company websites without assistance.
- Ability to work and communicate within a team environment.

CNC Machinist (2nd Shift)
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for our 2nd Shift, Monday-Thursday, 3:00 pm to 1:30 am. This is a full-time onsite position in Redmond, WA.

Salary range for this position is $32-$50/hour which is the general base range for a successful candidate in the State of Washington. The successful candidates actual pay will be based on various factors such as skills, qualifications and experience.
