    Description

    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our ICU team. As an ICU Nurse, you will provide critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions. Your expertise and dedication will be crucial in ensuring the well-being and recovery of our patients.


    Duties:

    • Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and symptoms
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
    • Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement individualized care plans
    • Operate and monitor medical equipment, such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps
    • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
    • Assist with procedures such as gastric lavage, pain management, and neonatal ventilation
    • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records (eClinicalWorks)
    • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment

    Qualifications:

    • Valid RN license in the state of [State]
    • Minimum of [X] years of experience in an ICU setting
    • Proficient in providing primary care to patients with various medical conditions
    • Knowledge of workers compensation laws and regulations
    • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
    • Familiarity with assisted living facilities and their specific care requirements
    • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to make quick decisions in highpressure situations
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
