    Job Title: Pretreatment Subject Matter Expert (SME)

    KBR's Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) team is seeking a seasoned Pretreatment SME to contribute to the Plaquemines project, a significant endeavor focused on constructing a Liquid Natural Gas export facility capable of exporting up to 20 million metric tonnes per year once fully operational. Situated approximately 20 miles south of vibrant New Orleans, this extensive, multi-phase initiative is projected to unfold over a two-year period.

    Reflecting KBR's unwavering dedication to environmental sustainability, the expansive 630-acre site nestled along the Mississippi River offers deep-water access sans the need for dredging, thus streamlining the eco-conscious development process.

    Requirements:

    To be eligible for this role, candidates must possess a current or be capable of obtaining/renewing a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card which must be maintained throughout the employment period.

    The Pretreatment SME will be tasked with crafting vital Commissioning, Start-up, and Operations (CSO) technical documentation for the LNG project. This encompasses the development of comprehensive manuals and procedures for Commissioning, Start-up, Operations, and Maintenance. Reporting directly to the Senior CSO Manager, this position commences at the Houston, TX headquarters with potential relocation to the Plaquemine facility in Port Sulphur, LA.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Generate PC&CSO Procedures, Operations Procedures and Systemization of the PIDs
    • Create documents aligned with project timelines
    • Proactively gather data from engineering, suppliers, and industry sources for CSO document compilation
    • Ensure adherence to document completion schedules
    • Contribute actively to Operability, Maintainability, and Model Reviews of the LNG Complex

    Experience & Skills Required:

    • Extensive proficiency in LNG facility operations
    • Demonstrable expertise in commissioning, startup, and CSO procedures development
    • Hands-on experience in Acid Gas Removal CSO
    • Strong problem-solving and communication capabilities
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
    • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills

    Additional Qualifications:

    • Equivalent of 18+ years of field experience (in lieu of formal education)
    • OR Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 10+ years of experience (15+ years on average)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Proficiency in various computer systems and software, particularly Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat
    • Experience in systemization
    • Understanding of LNG plant processes
