    Required Qualifications

    Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Ability to work with protozoa parasites such as Leishmania and special skills with rodent models for infection experiments.
    • Ability to work with parasites and mice the project needs with expertise in basic cell/molecular biology techniques such as RNA extraction and RT-qPCR for gene expression studies.
    • Expertise to work with axenic cultures and differentiate Leishmania parasites from promastigotes to amastigotes.
    • Ability to design research proposals and experiments from initial stages to completion.
    • Ability to interpret and analyze data obtained from research and experiments.
