    About the Role:

    Job Title:
    Senior Android Developer with Gradle and CI/CD Experience

    Project Summary:

    We are seeking a talented and experienced Android Developer with expertise in Gradle build automation and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

    As part of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining high-quality Android applications while optimizing our build processes and ensuring seamless delivery through CI/CD pipelines.

    The team is working on vast technology hence the candidate should know about Mobile Development/platform engineering.

    They have 60 features that they are supporting, and they have 250 developers on each Android and IOS, hence someone who they will be hiring should have vast knowledge of multiple skills they are supporting.


    Responsibilities:
    Develop and maintain native Android applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and enhancements.
    Optimize application code and architecture for maximum efficiency and maintainability.
    Implement and maintain Gradle build scripts to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.

    Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions to automate testing, code quality checks, and deployment.


    Required Qualification:
    Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
    Proven experience as an Android Developer, with a strong portfolio of Android applications.
    Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin programming languages for Android development.
    Solid understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools.
    Experience in Gradle build automation, including writing and maintaining Gradle build scripts.
    Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.


    Location:
    McLean, VA (3 days onsite a week)

    Salary Range:
    The salary for this position is between $150,000 - $170,000 annually.

    Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
