Job Summary: The Envelope Adjustor is in charge of configuring the envelope machine they work with, carrying out planned orders, maintaining the machines, and ensuring the quality of the final product. Working collaboratively with Envelope Operators Q&C, and Envelope Machine Operators, adjustors guarantee efficient machine operation and meeting production targets, while maintaining high quality standards.

Experience operating envelope machines is a must.

Responsibilities:

• Set up envelope machines for production, including size adjustments for envelopes, windows, and printing
• Start up and shut down machines, ensuring proper adjustments
• Monitor machines continuously to maintain consistent operation and product quality
• Select and use appropriate materials for each job and return unused materials to inventory
• Clean complex jams and assist Envelope Operators Q&C
• Approve quality samples, conduct regular quality checks during production
• Schedule and perform machine maintenance
• Communicate equipment concerns and maintenance issues to other shifts
• Provide detailed shift reports to supervisors
• Report any unplanned downtime to the Supervisor
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
• Train Envelope Operators on machine operations
• Make suggestions to improve organization, quality, and efficiency
• Occasionally act as a machine operator to cover breaks or absences
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a machine adjuster
• Basic math skills including fractions and measurements
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Passing drug screening, E-Verify, and background checks

Physical Demands: This role requires reaching, talking, standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision. Refer to the job description for more specific physical demands.
