Bellaire Animal Medical Center is a privately owned, rapidly growing small animal hospital in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Our 6,600-square-foot, purpose-built facility was designed from the ground up for efficiency, workflow, and high-level patient care.
We are not a high-volume, assembly-line clinic. Our technicians play an active, respected role in anesthesia, dentistry, advanced diagnostics, and patient management. We prioritize proper staffing, organization, and medical standards so our team can focus on practicing quality medicine without unnecessary burnout.
Our hospital is equipped with modern in-house diagnostics, digital radiography, CT imaging, endoscopy, advanced surgical equipment, and comprehensive anesthesia monitoring.
We believe veterinary technicians are medical professionals and essential members of the care team.
What You Will Do
- Assist with examinations, surgical procedures, and advanced medical cases
- Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
- Perform dental prophylaxis and full-mouth dental radiographs
- Perform and assist with advanced diagnostic imaging, including digital radiography, CT imaging, and endoscopic procedures
- Collect and process laboratory samples
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations
- Provide inpatient nursing care and critical case monitoring
- Educate clients on treatment plans and preventive care
- Maintain accurate medical records
Technicians are trusted to use their training, clinical judgment, and technical skills.

Qualifications
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (preferred)
- Strong interest in anesthesia, dentistry, and advanced diagnostics
- Positive, team-oriented mindset
- Desire to grow professionally and expand skill set
- Excellent communication skills
