    Description
    Minimum 1+ years of experience in speech therapy is required.

    Soliant is teaming up with a school system located near Hagerstown, MD, and is in search of a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the current academic year. The chosen candidate will work closely with the SLP team to assign caseloads that meet the District's requirements while considering age groups and clinical preferences.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Providing speech and/or language therapy to students diagnosed with communication disorders.
    • Keeping accurate service records for students on the caseload.
    • Assessing students with suspected communication disorders and providing recommendations for speech and language services as necessary.
    • Producing detailed written reports of observations, assessment findings, and recommendations in accordance with state guidelines.
    • Establishing speech and language goals in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
    • Creating comprehensive goals in conjunction with other educational staff for students with multiple disabilities.
    • Advising school personnel and parents on incorporating materials to enhance speech and language development, and other relevant curriculum areas.
    • Engaging in the Medicaid billing procedure for school-based services as instructed.
