Ready to join a US Best Managed Company? As we continue to experience growth KENT Corporation has a fantastic opportunity to join our team as an Inventory Technician We are searching for an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Technician to assist with all of the operations in our storeroom.
In this position, you'll play a key role in the proper care and maintenance of our stock, including ordering, receiving, and managing inventory.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroomReceive, unload, and shelve suppliesPerform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling suppliesInspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keepingRotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surplusesEnsure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory controlCoordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairsRegularly assist in general housekeeping activity in all areas of the storeroomMakes local facility deliveries as requested by supervisor
EDUCATION:
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalentEXPERIENCE &
QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid driver's license and willingness to acquire and maintain forklift certificationFamiliarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environmentAnalytical mind with ability to make accurate mathematical computationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCompetencies in data entry, analysis, and managementKeen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage timeSkills to operate common office equipmentPhysical ability to frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
