Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking a Neuropsychologist for hybrid work in both Outpatient and Skilled Nursing Facility environments in the Northern Nevada region.

Position Summary

The Neuropsychologist provides comprehensive neuropsychology and neurobehavioral diagnostic evaluations with the adult and senior population. Neuropsychologists provide differential diagnoses and validate existing diagnosis/medication orders, capacity, and behavioral function outlines.

Neuropsychologists provide expert consulting and collaborative IDT-type services. Function as an independent contracted clinician, yet salary-based.

The Neuropsychologist works within contracted Skilled Nursing Facilities providing direct care and sometimes telehealth.

The Neuropsychologist also works face-to-face Outpatient services in our office setting.

• 645 Sierra Rose Dr #105B Reno, NV 89509 and Facilities throughout Reno, Carson, Northern NV

Job Types

• Full-time W2 salaried
• (Part-Time, 1099 Independent Contract Options available)

Job Duties

• Provide Neuropsychology Evaluations to adults and seniors within a long-term, Skilled, or rehabilitation setting.
• Provide Neuropsychology Evaluations to adults and seniors within an Outpatient office setting.
• Provide in-service and education with facility staff, and attend behavior management committee meetings as needed.
• Administrative duties such as weekly documentation to complete reports, submit weekly billing claims sheet, and communicate with supervisor and colleagues as needed.
• NPs will be assigned to a grouping of contracted facilities to perform NP evaluations for all referred patients.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice in Nevada
• PhD or PsyD Degree (required)
• 3+ years' experience in neuropsychology (preferred)
• Fellowship Trained (preferred)
• Must provide 2 de-identified report samples for review before the secondary interview.
• Some facilities may require up-to-date vaccinations or appropriate exemptions.
• TB Test
• CPR/AED/First Aid Certification

Pay Range

• $120,000 - $140,000 annually DOE
