    Job Title: Research Analyst for the Hand and Upper Extremity Service

    Employment Status: Full-time

    Job Overview: As a research analyst, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of orthopedic surgery while supporting our team of hand and upper extremity physicians in their research and patient care endeavors.

    Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

    • Strong academic background
    • Creativity and self-motivation
    • Prior experience in clinical or basic research
    • Interest in academic medicine
    • Data management skills (preferred)

    Guidelines and Supervision: You will collaborate closely with Dr. Charles Daly and our Orthopaedic Surgery Residents.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conducting data analysis and preparing manuscripts for publication (25%)
    • Recruiting patients and collecting research data (25%)
    • Supporting physicians in various studies and projects (15%)
    • Assisting in drafting grant proposals (10%)
    • Gathering patient data and images (10%)
    • Preparing presentations and case reports (10%)
    • Handling research documentation (5%)

    Minimum Requirements: High school diploma with clerical or paraprofessional experience. Bachelor's degree can substitute work experience.
