    Description

    An Advanced EMT provides pre-hospital care and transportation for the sick and injured, adhering to local and national protocols. They conduct patient examinations, administer life support, and ensure patient safety during transport to medical facilities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough examinations of patients to identify signs and symptoms of illness or injury
    • Administer basic and advanced life support care in accordance with established protocols
    • Transport patients safely and efficiently to medical facilities
    • Maintain accurate records of patient information and treatment
    • Perform regular equipment checks and maintenance
    • Collaborate with other emergency personnel to ensure seamless patient care

    Requirements:

    • National and/or State certification as an Advanced EMT
    • Current CPR certification
    • Valid state-issued driver's license
    • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
    • Knowledge of company protocols and operational procedures
    • Ability to drive large vehicles in normal and adverse conditions

    Working Conditions:

    EMTs work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, often in difficult terrain and weather conditions. They must be able to respond quickly and think critically to provide high-quality patient care.

    Salary Range:

    $50,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and location
