We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Inhouse Estimator to join our dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing success.

    Position Overview:

    As an Inhouse Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our operations, responsible for accurately estimating the costs and resources needed for our elevator cab, door, and interior manufacturing projects. Your attention to detail and expertise will ensure that our projects are competitively priced and executed to the highest standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Analyze project specifications, drawings, and blueprints to determine project requirements.
    • Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment for elevator cabs, doors, and interiors.
    • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production teams to gather necessary information and ensure accurate estimates.
    • Maintain and update a database of costs for materials, labor, and subcontractors.
    • Prepare and present comprehensive bid proposals to clients.
    • Stay up to date with industry trends, materials, and pricing to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as an estimator, preferably in the elevator or related manufacturing industry.
    • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials, specifically related to elevator cabs, doors, and interiors.
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
    • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and open to learn new software.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
