    Overview

    The Strategy Project Manager is responsible for the development and execution of the company's strategic initiatives and other strategic projects as assigned by the Vice President of Strategy and Business Development. He/She adheres to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) while managing projects, overseeing planning and implementation of multiple projects, and modifying and creating schedules as required.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop project management plans in accordance with the annual strategic initiatives set forth by the Strategic Planning Council.
    • Collaborate with various departments to identify best practices and approaches from strategic projects.
    • Analyze complex problems and develop solutions to ensure successful project outcomes.
    • Evaluate project scope and objectives to ensure alignment with company goals.
    • Establish and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion.
    • Determine project roles and resource requirements to meet project objectives.
    • Manage scope creep through change orders or phased delivery to ensure projects meet timeline, budget, and strategy expectations.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management.
    • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
    • Master's degree a plus.

    Key Skills

    • Leadership and project management expertise.
    • Decision-making and critical thinking ability.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.
    • Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and program/project management software.

    Additional Requirements

    • Must be 21 years of age.
    • Must have a valid driver's license.
    • Must pass drug screen, criminal background checks, and driver's license check.

    Work Environment

    • Works in a fast-paced office environment.
    • May require extended hours, including evenings and weekends.
