Performs diagnostic studies on patients as prescribed by physician, using scanners or scintillation cameras to detect radiation emitted and to produce image of organ on photographic film.
Qualifications
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience RequiredEducation/Licensure:
Must a graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine program and eligible for the nuclear medicine registry
Experience:
One year of hospital experience preferred, but new graduates considered
Additional Skills/Abilities:
BLS required before the conclusion of the orientation period.
Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly.
