Assisting HVAC Field Technicians in the installation and repair of environmental control systems, utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory, control systems, pipe fitting, and structural layouts.

Cutting and threading pipe, using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe-threading machine; Cutting, bending, fabriating, and installing sheet metal duct; Studying building plans and working drawings to determine work aids required and sequence of installations; Connecting motors to control panels and balancing motors to insure efficient operation and connecting control panels to power source; Assisting in servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction; Maintaining stock of inventory, company equipment, and documents all service-related activities; Determining parts to order for repairs and timeliness of need; Identifying, analyzing and repairing equipment, instruments and products at a customer's location; Delivering parts to job sites, as necessary; Using a variety of hand and power tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to mount, assemble, troubleshoot and repair units.

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older Must have a valid driver license Looking for at least 1-3 years of apprentice helper experience within the HVAC industry.
