    This role is a critical component in support of the company's ambitious growth plan that spans multiple corporate metrics such as sales, revenue, profit, and market share. As a member of the Commercial Operations team, we will look for you to promote operational excellence and drive consistency across sales strategy and execution. The Commercial Operations team mission is to enable data-driven decisions and operationalize strategic programs that drive sales growth and sales effectiveness. You will partner with the commercial organization to lead strategic programs related to sales forecasting, pipeline management, sales performance analytics, technology and support day-to-day activities of the team. This is a critical execution role that will suit a versatile candidate experienced in coordinating, supporting, and participating in commercial programs.

    What the Role Delivers

    This role is accountable for the sales and deployment of digital and data products that tangibly impact agricultural supply chains and food waste, including a SaaS platform, internet-of-things (IoT) devices, mobile apps, integration partners and related business intelligence (BI) outputs for the North America region. Food waste is a problem of generational scope impacting greenhouse gas emissions, hunger and nutrition in every region of the world with significant opportunity for digital solutions to provide long-term impact. The successful candidate joins a nimble, collaborative team focused on digital offerings that contribute to the consistent profitable growth of the global organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    In order of relative importance

    • Accountable to meet or exceed digital sales goals through productive prospecting, system demonstration, client trials and subscription deal flow in collaboration with commercial teams
    • Collaborate with Account Managers and Country Leads to develop a robust digital sale pipeline, closing deals to meet or exceed budgeted annual recurring revenue
    • Assist with the initial configuration and implementation of digital products
    • Collaborate with Client Success Manager to delivering user training and documentation
    • Generate user acceptance test plans and monitor their signoff
    • Provide close support in the go-live phase and annual account performance reviews
    • Identify upsell/cross sell opportunities
    • Understand client processes regarding technology topics and derive related requirements in alignment with digital product owner
    • Ensure continuous information exchange with product management about customer specific engineering topics

    What the Job Requires

    • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
    • 4+ years of hands-on technical experience applying SaaS to drive sales analytics and product development
    • 5+ years of overall experience with 2 or more in technical sales
    • Ability to travel up to 33%
    • Competency in MS Office/365 and CRM
