- Performing high quality MRI images,
- Delivering age-appropriate patient care-contributing to the efficient operation of the MRI division of the radiology department.
- Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.
- Participates in CQI activities.
- One year of radiologic/imaging experience.
- Prefer specific experience and training in MRI.
- Registered or Registry eligible with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Current BLS Certification
- Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
- Possesses a high level of knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
- Proficiency with most major MRI equipment manufacturer's hardware and software (GE, Siemens, Picker).
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- Additional languages preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge.
