    Job DescriptionHouston MRI & Diagnostic Imaging is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Center Manager to join our team at our Sugar Land center located at 15555 Creek Bend Dr., Suite 300 Sugar Land, TX, 77478.

    Job Description
    The Assistant Center Manager will play a key role with planning, organizing, and directing the overall operation of the Imaging Center. This position will assist the Regional Director with maintaining performance improvement activities within the center and growing the practice in conjunction with the Marketing Team and Administration. This position requires a leader who maintains utmost professional interactions and communications with the patient/family, center staff, referring physicians/staff and radiologists.

    Job Functions

    1. Assists the Regional Director in the processing of orders received from referring physicians. This involves coordinating with technologists to perform diagnostic exams and ensuring the timely distribution of results by the radiologist.
    2. Maintains plans, organization, and direction of the imaging center operations and ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
    3. Ensures compliance with patient care quality standards as it relates to the care provided to all age groups of patients.
    4. Assist in daily supervision of imaging center staff, including technologists and radiologists, to judge effectiveness of operation, utilization of staff and supplies, and promote a positive, ethical, and professional atmosphere.
    5. Secures and maintains the physical facilities, equipment and supplies which are required to carry out effective patient care and optimum physical environment.
    6. Assists the Regional Director with carrying on continuous analysis, evaluation, and audit of imaging center production.
    7. Maintain and enforce all policies and procedures of the company as they directly and indirectly affect the imaging center.
    8. Assists with monitoring workflow and ensure proper staff coverage for practice. Assist with schedule staff based on needs of practice and fiscal constraints.
    9. Perform other duties as assigned or indicated by Direct Supervisor and/or Director.

    Qualifications

    1. High School graduate; Bachelor's degree (preferred, not mandatory).
    2. Intermediate to advanced computer knowledge.
    3. Minimum 4 years of experience in outpatient radiology (medical imaging).
    4. Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
    5. Ability to multi-task and remain detailed and organized.
    6. Ability to communicate and respond to questions in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
    7. Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
    8. Additional languages preferred. Bilingual English-Spanish preferred.

    Pay range: $ $25.00 per hour

    Schedule: Full - Time, Monday - Friday
