CompHealth is currently assisting a California hospital with their search for a neonatologist. Your schedule will be 1 week on and 1 week off with a 1:2 night call. A neonatologist stays in the hospital all the time. Spend every other night in the hospital the week you are on service. Join 3 other neonatologists and cover 1 hospital. Job duties include rounding in the NICU and attending C-sections/high-risk deliveries. The NICU uses advanced technology and cutting-edge methods to run at the highest level of acuity possible. Pediatric hospitalists are on staff to cover the well-baby nursery. This independent contractor opportunity has a base salary that will depend on the physicians experience. You will also be offered relocation assistance, a sign-on bonus, and loan repayment. This is your opportunity to live in one of the most desirable locations in California.
