Responsibilities

Deliver direct nursing care following established policies and procedures of the healthcare organization.

Execute and monitor patient care plans. Track, record, and communicate patient condition as needed.
Act as the main coordinator for all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
Follow physician and nursing orders accordingly.
Evaluate and manage patient's discharge needs with the healthcare team.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Registered Nurse license from the Alabama Board of Nursing required before hire or job transfer date.
One or more of the following certifications required:
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date. Accepted certifications: American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date. Accepted certifications: American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Education:

Diploma from an accredited nursing school OR Professional licensure at hire.
