- Analyze the impact of changes to customer's existing PKI policy and directives
- Provide subject matter in-depth knowledge of PKI and how to use it effectively to protect customer systems.
- Provide technical knowledge and analysis of current software and operational environment as well as planning for future systems
- Coordinate with the program team and customer to ensure the challenge has been properly defined and that the solution will satisfy the customer's requirements.
- Ensure that strategic and tactical PKI are aligned with modernization initiatives and support network and security performance requirements.
- Develop policy, standards, planning metrics, and strategy recommendations that ensure Army networks and systems are secure and emerging integrated capabilities meet prescribed regulatory guidelines
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/related business area or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of progressive experience with data encryption and PKI policies.
- Must possess one of the following IAT Level II certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP.
- Demonstrated success in conducting in-depth analysis of data encryption issues and challenges and successful implementation of PKI solutions.
- Strong communication skills - the ability to translate technical topics to non-technical audiences and the ability to provide analysis of complex issues in easily understood ways.
- Extensive experience with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel are important.
- Demonstrated success influencing decision makers by providing detailed analysis and recommendations for solutions to solve/resolve customer issues
