Description

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Georgia Department of Corrections.

We are currently seeking a full-time Statewide Director of Nursing to join our team at our Georgia Regional Office located in Atlanta, Georgia.

Statewide Director of Nursing provides clinical, educational and professional supervision for site directors of nursing and support staff. The Statewide DON works under the direction of the Program Manager/VPO and collaborates with medical leadership and other members of the multidisciplinary team in the correctional environment to improve healthcare of incarcerated patients.

Qualifications

• Georgia RN license or ability to obtain license, specialty training in psychiatric nursing or Master's Degree preferred
• Progressive experience in nursing care with a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience preferred
• Current CPR certification and current tuberculosis documentation
• Corrections, forensic or criminal justice experience preferred
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
