We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team. As a travel Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will spend the majority of your time testing blood and bodily fluids using complex laboratory equipment to obtain various information.

You will be responsible for examining specimens for bacteria, viruses or parasites, measuring levels of drugs or other chemicals in the blood to ensure medications are at their most therapeutic levels, looking at the chemical content of the blood to determine deficiencies in nutrients or excesses of cholesterol or blood sugars.

Making use of cell counters, cultures, microscopes and other various types of equipment is also part of this role. You must follow the lab's protocol for analyzing, interpreting and delivering test results.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate should have Active certification through ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology), AMT (American Medical Technologists), HEW (Health Education Welfare) or AAB (Accrediting Agency Board)
• A minimum experience requirement is eighteen months as a medical laboratory technologist / technician
