    Description


    SPECTRUM offers asset-based lending and accounts receivable factoring to businesses nationwide through referral sources such as banks, business brokers, consultants, and direct business to business contact.

    As a Collateral Auditor at SPECTRUM Commercial Finance, you will be responsible for reviewing and auditing collateral documents ensuring proper execution and compliance.

    Responsibilities
    Works directly with prospective and existing customers to schedule and coordinate periodic collateral audits.

    Conduct field examinations of prospective and existing customers including documentation of procedures performed, variances found, conclusions reached, and related recommendations for improvement.

    Analyze and evaluate collateral quality, collateral values and reporting capabilities of prospective and existing customers.

    Prepare audit reports and workpapers and makes recommendations to senior management regarding the prospect or customer and recommends any changes to the structure and/or monitoring of the loan.

    Other duties as assigned.
    Requirements

    Skills/Experience/Education
    Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or other relevant discipline.
    Accounting or audit related work experience preferred.
    Ability to analyze financial statements and knowledge of accounts receivable and inventory auditing concepts.
    Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to prioritize, organize and work independently to meet deadlines.
    Essential Mental & Physical Requirements
    Ability to travel (up to 20%) to perform the essential job functions.
    Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
    Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required.
    Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 15 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions.

    If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division any "undue hardship" then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
