    Description


    The Assistant Finance Director is responsible for supporting the Director of Finance in managing, directing, and supervising the activities of the accounting and human resources personnel, and performs highly complex professional-level accounting analyses to support the accounting and business functions of the Supervisory Union.

    The position assists to ensure fidelity to the UCOA, approved budgets, awarded grants, and compliance with GASB in order to satisfy both internal procedures and external reporting requirements.

    The position provides input to procedure development/revisions and is expected to explain, interpret and oversee adherence to procedures by all staff.

    The Assistant Director is involved with the planning, development, implementation, operation and coordination of all modules of the integrated accounting system.
