    Description

    Duties: Under limited supervision, provide care, manage, and oversee health and safety of all research and teaching animals and animal facilities at New Bolton Center. Monitoring housing, daily care, vaccinations, worming and hoof care. Order animal transport services. Order consumable animal care supplies. Monitor movement of animals on campus and keep census records. Responsible to ensure compliance with University and
    Governmental policies. Participate in regulatory agency inspections and follow up with compliance issues. Position located in Kennett Sq., No public trans. avail.

    Qualifications: High School graduate; 1-2 years large animal experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Equine experience preferred. Physically able to lift heavy objects above the shoulders. Ability to handle, catch and restrain animals. Must be able to perform facilities repair, upkeep, and operate farm equipment. Valid driver's license required. Willing to accept occasional over-time assignments and shift assignments other than Monday through Friday. Position located in Kennett Sq., No public trans. Avail.
