Our purpose is to learn and grow together while purposely creating value for our residents, team members and clients.Dietz Property Group is seeking an Area Facilities Manager to oversee preventative maintenance, CapX projects, value add plans, and third-party vendor purchasing and relationships for one of our Premier Multi-Family Portfolios in the Greater Columbus Ohio area.

Develop, implement and maintain the appropriate preventative maintenance processes to ensure all assets are properly preserved
Develop, implement and maintain processes for CapX projects
Facilitate key CapX projects by obtaining the appropriate bids and ensuring all work is completed to agreed upon specs and standards
Execute Value Add programs through vendor selection and coordination of work between property staff and outside contractors
Assist with due diligence for acquisitions
Develop maintenance team members to grow the company's facilities knowledge and bench strength. This includes training maintenance supervisors and/or maintenance techs as needed
Perform all duties in accordance with company policy and the appropriate safety standards
Travel to all assets in the STG portfolio and to potential acquisitions as needed
Conduct facilities activities in a manner that assists the DPG portfolio in maintaining or exceeding budgets
10+ years of experience in facilities and construction
~ Skills in a broad range of maintenance areas including heating, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing and carpentry
~ Proven project management skills
~ Background in value add and property management highly preferred
~ A Bachelor's degree is highly preferred
~ Willingness to travel as needed
This is a full-time position for which you will typically work M-F from 9am - 6pm
