    Your Role

    The Behavioral Health Utilization Management team performs prospective utilization review for our members and correctly applies the guidelines for nationally recognized levels of care. They collaborate directly with the Member, Member's Family, and Interdisciplinary Care Team to achieve consensus and promote positive Member health outcomes through the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Member's Care Plan. The Licensed Clinician, Senior will report to the Manager, Behavioral Health Utilization Management.

    In this role, you will work closely with both the Utilization and Care Management teams. These teams provide utilization management, telephonic triage, and care management assistance to members seeking access to Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) benefit. Your primary function will be utilization management for our members requesting Behavioral Health Treatment (BHT).

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with members, their families, and interdisciplinary care teams to achieve consensus and promote positive member health outcomes.
    • Perform prospective utilization reviews for members and apply guidelines for nationally recognized levels of care.
    • Work closely with the utilization and care management teams to provide utilization management, telephonic triage, and care management assistance.
    • Manage behavioral health treatment requests from members, ensuring alignment with nationally recognized levels of care.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as psychology, social work, or nursing.
    • Licensed clinician, senior, with experience in behavioral health utilization management.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
    • Ability to analyze complex information and make informed decisions.
