The team at Cedars-Sinai Interdisciplinary Neurological Outpatient Rehabilitation Clinic collaborates closely with the medical staff to deliver exceptional and groundbreaking care to patients dealing with post-operative and chronic conditions. Operating in a fast-paced setting, this role demands the ability to work autonomously.

As an Occupational Therapist within the Cedars-Sinai Neurological Rehabilitation Clinic in Los Angeles, California, your responsibilities will involve conducting assessments, implementing suitable treatment strategies following protocols, ensuring precise and thorough documentation within set deadlines, using established outcome measures to set objectives and showcase patient progress and recovery prospects. You will oversee and adjust the development of patients assigned to assistants and exhibit strong communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues. The clinic boasts a robust clinical education initiative, with involvement in student training also expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program is mandatory.
Master's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program is preferred.
Completion of formal occupational therapy education at the Doctorate level is preferred.

License Required:

Must hold a valid and current OT license in California.

Current CPR certification required: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).

Experience Needed:

Minimum of 1 year of practice as a therapist with demonstrated proficiency at this level. At least one year of experience in a neurological setting. Familiarity with electronic health records is advantageous.

Physical Demands:

Able to occasionally handle weights up to 100 lbs by pushing, pulling, or lifting; able to move freely without limitations by bending, stooping, sitting, standing, and walking.
